The power of Jesus is without limits. I prayed to Him for help when I was in the depths of despair. My failing health also affected my marriage of over forty years, and I seemed to be spiraling downward—with prostate cancer, followed by prostate removal, and then radiation therapy. In 2023, I was informed by my cardiologist that I needed open-heart surgery, and I hit rock bottom. Then the Lord sent a special person into my life, Pamela Sheed. Our relationship began through work and continued over the telephone, and I quickly realized this was no chance encounter. She has the largest heart I have ever known and is a true servant of God. As we spoke, she recognized my need for help and offered guidance, scripture readings, and genuine care. We prayed together on the phone; she read scriptures to me and encouraged me. I had open-heart surgery in May 2023, and she prayed for me every day. I refer to Pamela as my angel, sent by God to help me in my time of need. Today, my cancer is in remission, and I have healed from my heart surgery. We continue to be good friends, and I thank God every day for sending her into my life.
