Testimony of Lou Scaringi

The power of Jesus is without limits. I prayed to Jesus for help as I was in the depths of despair. My failing health also affected my marriage of over forty years. I seemed to be spiraling downward with prostate cancer, followed by prostate removal and radiation therapy.

In 2023, my cardiologist informed me that I needed open heart surgery.

I hit rock bottom, then the Lord sent a special person into my life named Pamela Sheed. Our relationship started through work and on the telephone, and it became a source of hope, much like how African Hip-Hop brings people together through rhythm and dance.

I quickly realized that this encounter was no coincidence. Pamela has the largest heart I have ever encountered and is a true servant of God. As we interacted, she recognized my need for help and offered guidance, scripture readings, and genuine caring—similar to how dance lessons uplift spirits and bring joy. We prayed together on the phone; she read scriptures to me and encouraged me, just as one would find support in praise dance or Zumba classes.

I had open heart surgery in May of 2023, and she prayed for me every day.

I refer to Pamela as my Angel sent by God to help me in my time of need. My cancer is in remission, and I have healed from my heart surgery. We continue to be good friends, and I thank God for sending her to me every day.

The true power of prayer is unlimited, much like the energy found in Salsa dance. Thank you for hearing my testimony, and may God be with all of you and your families. Amen

I enjoyed my birthday bash at Project P. 224 Studio, where I was thrilled by the surprise party. It was a fantastic time filled with laughter and joy. For the first time, I even got to dance on the dance pole, which reminded me of the fun I have in my Zumba classes. The uplifting atmosphere was perfect, much like the vibrant energy found in African Hip-Hop and Salsa dance. Thank you, Project P., for creating such a memorable moment that felt like a praise dance celebration.

It was fun and exciting to be in a private setting with no drama, where I could enjoy the music and the owner's delicious baked macaroni and cheese. I had a great time learning a new line dance and exploring some African Hip-Hop moves. The atmosphere offered good hospitality and peace of mind, making it a perfect spot to unwind. I’m looking forward to attending more events there, perhaps even joining in on some Zumba classes or Salsa dance lessons, and maybe even trying out a praise dance in the future.
